The Observer have featured Róisín Murphy in their ‘My Radar’ column, offering a chance for the musician to pick her cultural highlights, ranging from Film, Theatre, Books and beyond.
Murphy recently released new album ‘Take Her Up To Monto’ the anticipated follow up to last year’s Mercury Prize nominated ‘Hairless Toys.’
Released via Play It Again Sam and recorded with Murphy’s longtime collaborator Eddie Stevens during the ‘Hairless Toys’ sessions, the album has once again been critically acclaimed with Uncut commenting in their 8/10 review, “Crackles with confidence, hard to imagine her bettering this.”
As with ‘Hairless Toys’, Murphy self-directs all the album’s videos.
